What is the US up to here??
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599...-23109,00.html
I wonder number 1, what were they doing there, number 2, how are they going to get around it, and number 3, what were they doing there?! Whoopsies! |
Questions 1 & 3: They were there to find and kill terrorists!! (or to "plant" some terrorists, who knows).
Question 2: This is really, really, really illegal, but I'm sure some sweet trade deal and some money under the table will smoothe this whole hiccup over in no time at all. :shifty: On a more serious note, I wouldn't be surprised if the people involved were trading in black market weapons. After all, if the CIA does it should be okay for them to do it too!! Right? |
The US embassy in Bishkek said it hoped this "uncomfortable situation" could soon be sorted out.
I can just imagine we would. Ok Class, todays phrase is "Persona non grata". It is Latin for "scram" :know: |
I didn't see where it said whose soldiers they were.
|
“There were several employees of the US embassy with diplomatic immunity and 10 soldiers who supposedly came from the United States to carry out training with Kyrgyz secret services,”

They have to wait and give the US a chance to make up a story I guess.

The US should've said they were making a Mission Impossible movie. :yep:
Found this while researching another article from the front page of Subsim. U.S. Arms Cache Found in Kyrgyzstan: http://www.kommersant.com/p1008364/r...tan_relations/ |
"Didn't it say in the renter's agreement, a weapons cache with your first rental.
