Oil tankers doubt!
HI everyone!
While sinkig a improved T2, i've received this idea: if a tanker is trasporting gasoline, oil ecc, why her "fuel reserve" on her image in recognition manual is so small? Shouldn't be great like half ship? :hmm: |
1) Cargo is not fuel reserve
2) Tanker fuel and tanker cargo fuel may not be the same 3) Might be tricky to run a pipe from cargo to fuel tank safely |
i think he means:
fuel bunker contains fuel. if the fuel bunker is hit the ship will explode. the cargo bunker contains fuel. therefore... if the cargo bunker is ****, the ship should go KABOOOOOOM! also, the fuel (cargo) bunkers, altho not connected to the fuel(standard) bunkers... are still "fuel bunkers"... (i didn't loose any of you in the explanation, did i ) |
Yes, If you hit the tanker, it should go KABOOM!!!!!:smug:

I agree, a ship that carries any kind of fuel in her cargo hold should light up like a Roman candle! :arrgh!:

That said, once the fire get started, any type of fuel will most likely consume the ship, metal and all. However, in SH3/GWX, those dedicated merchant crew will never abandon ship even while they are being burnt to a crisp by tens of thousands gallons of fuel. They will keep manning the deck gun till the ship goes down...:damn: |
Yes, because they're brave (like Titanic orchestra)
