JSGME question
With the latest versions of JSGME, is it still necessary to remove mods from the bottom up (like the earler versions) or can mods now be removed in any order?
I touched on this in another Forum, but I'm curious if the old protocol of from the bottom up is still valid, or no longer relevant because of the way that the newer versions of JSGME work. |
my new version of jsgme grays out any mods that are affected by new ones on top
so my guess would be that it's safe to move those mods which are not greyed out around, but if mess it up you'll end up with PE3.3 files in your TMO folder etc safe bet is to always remove em in the reverse order of installing em, so yes bottom up |
Bottoms up
Seriously: You can remove them in any order you want, since JSGME doesn't allow you to do that in the wrong order anymore. The mods that have files overwritten by later mods are greyed out and can't removed without removing the overwriting mod first. |
Hmmm. My version is 2.1.0, but it's not the latest version. Looks like I'd better DL the latest version of the mod enabler. :D
