Right, so I've been acting like a spoilt brat and I'm still pissed off with the dev team for not sorting out their stuff.

But then again, I've just spent the past half hour smoking ciggies, sitting on that flat bit just in front of the bridge, riding my Salmon class through a storm at sunset as the boat is continuing an already successful patrol. It's beyond words and from what I understand it's likely to improve even more. So I'll just try to shrug off the fact that the watchcrew won't come inside with me when I go down to listen in on my sonar contact in 5 minutes.
