Replacing SHIII disc
 

I recently scratched my original game disc so the the security code can no longer be read up on loading.

My question is if I were to purchase a new SHIII, will I be able to continue my campaign or will I have to re-install the game in order to for the game to load?

You shouldn't have any problems, but your best bet is to copy the 'SH3' folder in 'My Documents' before you start the reinstall.
You should then be able to load up your old careers by copying them back once your reinstall is complete.

If you write to UBI Soft they will replace your disk as long as you prove you had a genuine copy.
