[REQ] Want to create sub on surface with crew on deck
 
Hi, there. Trying to create a mission where we start off with a sub sailing beside the human playable sub with crew visibly on deck.

Any ideas geniuses? :know:

It would be an AI sub with crew on deck then, are the crew destroyable ? (gunfire)
doable if you jsut look at Xantro's deck gun crew, just need to add more people.

When you mean the crew, similar to the ships crew, you need chunk, named for example cfg#P01, cfg#P02..., set their positions with the coordinates and then you add in the *.eqp file:

NodeName=P01 <---- Your slot

LinkName=char2_AMSailors <-- Link to the sailor with animation
StartDate=19380101

[Equipment 59]

Although they are low result, the do their job.

ok no result, bear with me please :doh: I copied your equipment list line by line but changed the equipment numbers to line up with the last equipment number on the IXD2 eqp file. I put it in a separate direct and made it jsgme compatible. No result...

I know you put the P01 P02 in there as examples, but I know nothing about chunks or where to find examples of them... can you name some for me? :damn:
