S.O.S. Please with GWX download
 

Long time no hear. I have been gone for over a year and would like to rejoin the game and this forum. I am glad to see you are still here. I am having difficulty downloading GWX 2.0. I have a (2005) US-CD that I have reloaded and patched (with the correct) version 1.4b several times. Before I retry the download, I start with a fresh 1.0 patched to 1.4 and delete any remaining Ubisoft files from before. I obtained the GWX 2.0 mod file from Subsim after a donation and have the 7 .bin files in a folder on my desktop. The problem I am having occurs about half way through when the download stops and I get the following message:

C:ProgramFiles\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Sea\NK BL__T04.tga

An error occured while trying to copy a file:
The source file is corrupted.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

Of course on one of my attempts, I tried the Ignore option to no avail. It simply went on to the next file in the sequence and presented the same error message. I am not a programmer by any means but can follow directions. Do any of you have a cure? I sure would love to experience GWX. Thank you for your time.

You may have to down load GWX again. :hmm:

GWX is up and running thanks to you. I tried downloading it again, started fresh, and sunk my first ship in a year. GWX is fantastic.:up:
