First/Third-person-view Cameras Mod
 

Really? ididn't no this was actually posible, where did you find it in the first place, I mean I knew you could walk around the sub with certain Mods but (I use them) but not that you could see yourself in the third person.


EDIT: I found his mod page and though it says 1st/3rd person it never showed me as a characchter in the third person I just lets you walk around the ship. but at any rate here is the link http://hem.bredband.net/serbut1/. Its a shame I have alway wanted to see myself in the 3rd person I so I could create a uniform mod to go with it...my hopes are blasted again.

Oh well I tried but ya know if you have rfb or some of the other mods they do the same thing... or if you don't want to add all of any of the other mods to your game and really just want the free move around you can always DL rfb and just extract it's camera.dat file out and put it into your game and tha should do it. I think

With what mod can you walk arround in the ship ? Never came accros it.

I said it several times "RFB" you can free camera around the control room, the conning tower, or the outside of the sub on deck etc..., etc... and you will still roll with the ship.

That's a great idea. I'll give it try. Strolling around on deck is big deal to me.

I already can walk on the deck, just use the shortcut F5 so you are on the conning tower and then you can move arround with your arrows.

I'm gonna do a search on the 1.5 forum otherwise i let you notice if i didn't found it. My buddies will help me for sure :p

Are you guys saying you have/want a camera MOD that gives more freedom to 'roam' than does the "ROW Realistic Camera with sway vs_2d" MOD?

No i'm not saying that. I was only asking after some mod so you could move arround with your camera into the sub. RFB is fine but their are to much changes. The whole menu bar changes wich i changed with the mymenu maker but i haven't tried it yet. I aint gonna keep the sounds of it. Except the firing deck gun and i'm gonna replace the dive, surface sequences with the stock sounds :up:

I think some mods like RFB should be restricted so you don't end up with a mod wich you like the half and the other half not. So you can install mods for your specific ask. You may end up with a lot of mods but thats not a problem. RFB could be seperated in a menu, new gameplay settings (the main part), periscope mod (nice btw), and of course the 'walk around feature'. So if someone was looking for a walk around feature he doesn't have to delete the mod because gameplay was totally different and didn't liked it.

LIKE ME, but it gave me a couple of ideas to edit it so i like it but of course not everyone has my limited edit knowledge :hmm::lol:, some guys only can presss the download button and just follow the orders. I had to figure out the mymenumaker for 'experienced' users. I asked myself, how can you be experienced if you don't know how it works :o. Just experiment is the answer. A whole lot of it, but not in this case.

Well i answered your question, i was looking for the RFB not other mods :rotfl:

The Sergbuto 1st/3rd Mod simply allowed you to move close-up and anywhere on the exterior of the sub. It followed the movement of the sub and always returned you to what you were looking at last. You used the "< >" and arrow keys to use it. It was great for air attacks, in-port viewing and all around emmersion. I loved it! I got it in 9/07. If Sergbuto is still around I'd sure like to get another copy. I've only used individual Mods so I don't know if it has been incorporated in anything else.
