The glorious Heinz Buder writes:

I must really protest at my latest assigend patrol to the coast of Norway. I understand that it will help with the invasion of Norway, I do feel that it is a waste of my talents hunting enemy task forces, when the same job could easily done by Georings flyboys (sorry Lufftwaffe).

In light of the stiutation, I will do this patrol but under protest and have the full backing of my crew. On my return, I expect to be returned to my usual Atlantic patrols, so I can resume hunting enemy convoys. And to facilitate this I shall require a Type IX/B U-boat.

I refute the fact that I am a sarcastic coward. I was mearly pointing out that I will be more useful in the atlantic campaign sinking enemy convoys, as I have already sunk over 76,000 GRT, and you do not want lose such an expereinced commander if we want to bring the Brtish to it knees and force them out of the war.

I apologies unreservedly and will dilligently carry out my orders.

Those u-boat pictures are hilarous. Not the usual set of pictures you normally see. Good to see it's not all death, destruction, fear, crappy weather, moldy food, smelly crewmen, and boredom. There were lighter moments.
