U-711!

:oThe " U -711 "was leaving Spitsbergen with three-3 raindeer on the deck . They had hunted them down on the island , and was on their way back to NorthernNorway , when they beeing attacked by british ships . They had to deepdive with those raindeer on the deck:o :o :o for 30 hours while the depthcharges sorrounded them and exploaded .
Later when those raindeer beeing served in Narvik , the Germans knew it wast the most delightful and tender meat they ever tasted:huh: Those depthcharges has shaked the meat tender I think:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I read the article in a magazine related to " German SubMarine in Norway "

Where the raindeer alive before they submerged?
If so, holding your breath for 30 hours might be challenging!

You would think with a number like 7-11 they would have just settled for a Big Gulp and a hot dog !

No, when he tells us they were on the deck, they must be outside the boat:hmm:

30 hours in sea water, with depth charge pressure waves pounding into the carcasses? So, they were eating "salted venison" - gag!?!
