Death to Spies video game
 

I never heard of this game and just ran across it in a store.

Anyone here playing it?

It is a WWII sneaking game where you play a Soviet SMERSH agent doing the nasty on the Nazis. Well any game where you can kill Nazis is ok in my book.

But so far it is one of the toughest games I have played.

Yeah, I like it. Havent played it much though, and I agree its very hard.

Nazi=German?

American=Republican Bush voter?

I am aware of that.
My Grandfather was a German soldier back then. But he was no Nazi (he was the son of a communist [from bad to worse huh;)]). I don't like this generalization that all Germans of that time were evil Nazis. That's about as true as claiming all Vietnam vets killed civilians and burned villages.
Imagine you were hearing every day that someone made a video game where you can kill all those American murderers in Vietnam while you are just playing a character that is fighting ordinary GIs.
You would get sick of that after some time, be sure of that.
I don't want to say that all those crimes didn't happen or that it was a bad thing that we lost (I'm actually quite glad that I don't have to life under a dictatorship) but you are accusing ca. 60 million people of being mass murderers.
I know we are only talking about a stupid video game but after hearing "in the game you can kill Nazis" while one is not dealing with SS-officers or Nazibosses but with normal soldiers, for 26 years by now I'm really getting annoyed of it.

Maybe I'm a bit oversensitive there but when you hear it every few days that an entire genaration of your countrymen were evil then it really starts to piss you after some time.:roll:

O.K. forget I said anything, continue to kill "Nazis".:dead:

I did not mean to offend.

The game is about killing Nazis. You can only succeed if you kill only the Nazis and sneak back the Regular German Army. I fully understand that there was a difference between German's and Nazis and that not all German military were members or even sympathetic with the Nazi party.

Although I don't know how you could interpret my original post as being anti German, Please accept my apologies.

Well not that tough that I need to resort to cheating after playing the game for one day :)

Yeah, you've got to soften the glue before you try chewing on it, otherwise you'll get nowhere. You might get some bowel obstruction with the gloopy glue, however, but it makes the carpet taste more meat-like in texture.
