Hmm... I'm amazed nobody here rembered Spore Creature Creator is out...
 

Just downloaded the trial version of it. Sounds pretty interesting. Sporeopedia has already gotten 1,300 submissions of creatures, but shockingly enough, 1,000 at least are from a pirated version.

Either way, looks like fun. I'm gonna give it a whirl.

I hope they get a ton from the pirated version. The point being, people turn to piracy in the name of such ugly copy protection.

Remove the copy protection, and your game will sell like hotcakes! A simple modern day example is Oblivion.

(But yes, that'll be how my alien will look like when Spore is released. :) )

Some other user is going to come along and discover that creature. If I find it first... I'll know who it was... and I'll be sure to obliterate their planet, heh.:yep: :)

This is fun! Although the other half is probably now going to steal the demo from me and hoard it for the rest of the week, but it's good fun! :rock:

The demo (free trial version) only gives you a very limited (about 5)
ways to create your creature. The full "SPORE Creature Creator" which
you buy for $10 ( I just got 2 of them, one for me and one for my grandson)
gives you the total creation menu. Its a real blast !!

Yeah, that's in the full game which'll hopefully be out before the end of the year. :up:
