Y'know Kapitan, publicly claiming to have sensitive intelligence material in your possession is not a good idea... |
nah all the pictures i have are mostly readily availible on the net or from other people (like rubin or malakhit) just pop them an email and they send you some nice pics.
Now if i said ive got a picture of the boreys new OK-750K reactor then i think they would ask questions and detain me indefinatly :D but i dont! infact i dont think ive even got a picture of any reactor from any russian or soviet submarine. but im willing to exchange pics or indeed if theres some you want that i may have and intrest you then i can forward them. |
This is my all time favorite picture. It's the USS Virginia SSN-774 next to a floating dry dock in the Thames River berthed in Groton, Conn last year.
I call it "Cold War" http://theworldwideweather.com/contac5.jpg Got any pictures Kapitan taken with a periscope of other ships screws? I was just on a boomer back in the 70's, but I have a friend that had a lot of these well detailed pictures just so our side could count the numbers of blades of the other side. A chilling job for sure, brrr. |

I always have liked the Vic III, and here's my favorite picture of it. Untangling a towed array (an American FFG's it got caught in IIRC?) off the Eastern US coast. Look how high it is out of the water!:

Kilo class submarine, with sheath, agility and lethality (there's no counter once a wave homing torpedo locks on you, no decoy works, calling the damage control team to standby is the only thing you can do! muhahahaha ;))

HMCS Corner Brook
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...rner_Brook.jpg I worked on her as HMS URSULA, they have had their problems but they're still lovely little boats. I like the composition in this photo. |
