pictures?

How do I put pictures/photo's in a post. A frind just gave me a booklet about the
USS Barb with Photo's and it's operational history. There are also numerous shots of other boats. If these are going to be of use I will post them when I know how!!

I just learned recently how to do this.

And if I can do it anyone can.

Google Photobucket.

Once you get it down the fun begins.

You'll wonder how you lived without it.:yep:

To put a picture on a forum, you have to find the url. If it is a picture you have taken you need to put it on some picture hosting web. I recoment www.photobucket.com. Its free :smug: . So when you have the link ;

Hope it helped ;)

First I shall have to scan them all into my computer. About 25 pages, then I imagine go to this 'www.photobucket.com' I shall go look at this anyway. So there isn't anyway to upload them directly into a post?

Nope. They have to be hosted by some site or other, just like mods. There are several, but with Photobucket you don't even have to do the '[img]' thing; it does it for you. You just click on the link below the picture and it says "Copied". Then you paste it in your message and enjoy the result.

Yeah it copies for you. There are also some other Image hosting sides but i don't know about them
