RB's SH4 effects for SHIII question
Hi all,
Just a quick question, sorry to be so MOD-challenged! :nope: I enabled Rb's SH4 effects mod using JGSME, and I don't seem to be seeing any difference in gameplay. Mind you I enabled it and then just went to the Training area to see what it looked like, and maybe that's why I am not seeing any difference (?), but all the other Mods have always shown up when I go to the Training area to check them out. I have GWX 2.1 and a couple of other mods enabled like the Mission orders, no medals, and that's about it (I am at work so I can't give you the exact details on all the mods I have loaded, but there is not much) But based on the screenshots that were posted with this particular Mod, mine is not working at all. Any ideas on what I have most likely done wrong? Thanks very much folks! Dale |

Kidding, mate! Did you enable racerboys mod for gwx 2.1 adapted by me for gwx 2.1 or the original? Second, did you shoot at anything in training mission or mutilated anything? It is an effect mod, that means you have to kill something to see the difference? Eplosions, and stuff like that, little supermans and that sort.. Third, what did you expect to see? Cheers! Marko |
Hi,
I enabled yours, specifically Rbs_SH4_effects_204f1.rar. And yup, I blasted two ships, sunk them both. I didn't see any "supermen" :D and the smoke was the same as before the mod. (not that really good looking thick stuff like in your screenshots) Also, the debris in the water was the same as before the mod. And the damage to the ships was just the black smudges on the hull. I am sure I must have done something wrong, but can't think of what it is. :hmm: Thanks for you help! |

Ok, I will try that.
Thanks for the info! The mod looks great, so I hope it works for me. Dale |
