can you edit?
 

Does this game have a file you can edit your renown? Had a little shunt with a German ship ending in me getting credit for his demise. And I want my renown back I was about to buy a new boat.:|\\

there is such a topic ....just search it.

I've read those threads... but for some reason i dont have the file in my folders they said to edit.

Go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\THE NAME OF YOUR LALEUN.....and open the Patrols_0 CFG

A better solution, IMHO, is to remove the renown requirements for the equipment, and use the renown to keep track of your progress in the war, from year to year, and from career to career, and promotion to promotion.
