Problems with Single Mission Start Up in SHIII GWX 2.1

Hello Fellow Uboot Kapitans,
I have a P4 2.8 GHZ 2.0 Meg video card computer (using MS VISTA). Also, I can start (and play) a Career Mission with no problems. However, I cannot play a Single Mission scenario with SHIII GWX 2.1.

I go through the selection process and complete about 11/12ths of the loading of the game and then it 'boots me out' of the game.:damn: While I HOPE others have had this issue, can someone help me?

Thank you,
U100

I know nothing of GWX?Vista, but if you had been using XP as your operating system I'd have asked you what you had added to your installation. http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...ies/pirate.gif

The only 'add on' I have is this fresh installation of GWX 2.1 (of course, I had installed the latest patch before installing GWX 2.1). Thanx

Hi U100,

not sure at all, but there seem to be some problems with incompatibilities between old SingleMissions created with SH3 Editor and the GWX2.1 installation.
Some unit/information from the original game editor seem to cause crashes loading into GWX2.1.
I'm aware of some similar comments on the german ubi forums.

"Glad" to hear I am not the only one with this problem!:)

Hopefully, someone might have a solution to it, also. :ping: :sunny:

Thank you again for your insight.
