Close encounters
 

Early June 1941, sailing from Narvik with my U 123 (a IX B).

When I get in the northern part of AF57, I stumble upon a TF composed of a Fiji class cruiser and some DD's (two of them *Norwegian* Town class!) on a NW course. I close in, but can't attack because of the DD's charging like raging bulls. I send out a contact report before crash diving, in the hope the guys form the Luftwaffe come in. They do, in fact: a lone He 111 who gets shot down as soon as it appears. Goring guys could do better, IMHO.

Later, in SW part of AN13, I sight another TF. And lo! they were three *American* DD's (two Buckleys and a Town) heading to Scapa Flow ---> in June 1941! Decidedly the times are a-changin'--- Luckily enough they really behave as neutrals.
Question: will they give out my position to their British friends? I know in RL they'd do -- but what about in SH3?
