Ooops - a double posting!
Damn Cookie handling... |
Load your screenshot.bmp into MSPaint (comes with Windows) or other graphics manipulation program and save as screenshot.jpg to a known location - maybe your desktop?
A JPG file is much smaller than a BMP file and speeds up loading times for your spectators. Now connect to the web and google for "Imageshack" or "Photobucket" or whatever provider of free space you want and open their website. They show a button "search" that opens a window enabling you to find the location you stored your screenshot.jpg on your computer. Click it and start the upload function provided. Wait until upload is finished. When done the website shows an URL address to your screenshot.jpg - now stored on their server. Some provide a version already prepared for forum use. It looks more or less similar to this: [img]http:/ /www. providername .com/XXX/177t55kll990screenshot. jpg[/img] Copy this line and paste it into your posting to show your screenshot. If they only provide the naked URL - here http:/ /www. providername. com/XXX/177t55kll990screenshot. jpg - simply paste it into the small window that opens after clicking on the picture symbol in the second line of the message window of the forums software - here where you write your postings. You can add the [img]...[/img] tags manually too if you want. The [ ] is done by <AltGr + 8> and <AltGr + 9>. If you want to know where other users store their images simply rightclick on their images, click properties and read the URL shown in the popup window. |
Thank you very much, your information was clear as water, Sir...
Done! |
Use PhotoBucket; they make it even easier.
1) They change it to jpeg automatically, so you don't have to. 2) You don't have to highlight or copy anything. They have four different link functions. The bottom one says "IMG Code". Just click on that one and you get a little box that says "Copied." You're then ready to paste it in your message. |

@ Starlion; Du må konvertere bildene dine til .jpeg format før du laster dem opp...Ellers tar det ufattelig lang tid før de med trege linjer greier å laste dem..
Png- filer er for store... .Jpeg gir like bra kvalitet, men er mange ganger mindre enn .png... Det finnes masse programmer der ute som kan gjøre dette. Prøv å søk på google, eller bruk photoshop eller lignende for å konvertere dem! :D:up: |
