I think in the SH3 mods forum. There's a thread there with all the mods available.

I'll look for a link.

Go to the SilentHunterIII\data\Library folder & open the GUNS_SUB.sim file with S3D, the first & last wpn_Cannon, the others are AA, then adjust the reload time, note also that the reload time is effected by the crews effeciancy, this make a difference by about 5 seconds, hope this helps.:yep:

Just tell me which rate of fire do you want, I'll mod the file for you and upload it.

The realistic rate of fire during WW2 was 4 seconds. That's what I use! :up:

If its 4 seconds you want, here it is: http://rapidshare.com/files/116922551/GUNS_SUB.sim.html

If its not, tell me the value and I'll do it for you tomorrow... Now I'm off to bed, work ealy in the morning! :up:

Thx the rate of fire i want is 75 rounds per minute i know its not realistic but its to sink those destroyer. If you can edit for the 88mm and the 10.5cm too it would be helpful!

That's another :eek::eek::eek:

Four rounds per minute would be a lot closer, and even that is probably too fast.

<sniff sniff>

I smell bullcrap.:lol: I suspect U-BoatAces was your realistic source.

Anyway, having been around for the original discussion (I use that term lightly :lol:) this issue has been beaten to death and I don't want get involved again.

@ The OP

Use either Silent 3ditor or Mini-tweaker and edit away. If you only want to change the fire rate, use SH3Commander.
