Excellent additions to my lesson on foreign telecom facilities. If I may ask what country is this?

It is not all telephone. Looks like a conglomerate of DC power more than anything. DC power requires wires like this which is half the reason it is inferior for long hauls over AC. Tesla saved us all from having skylines like this.

PS. One of your clues is the standoffs - they are for high voltage, not 22 volt teli line.

By the way, Tesla if allowed to live longer, would have saved us from having any power lines at all. He was working on sending power over free air. It is a concept that should be researched futher I think.
