Single Mission issue
 

i made a single mission and i wanted to use the Pocket Battleship instead of the u-boats, but the game menu only gives me the option of a uboat? i dont know what to do?

Instead of going to the Sub menu, can you go to the Sea menu and choose the battleship through there? If not, then the BB is probably based on sub files or something and just try placing the "sub" in the mission and try that.

Since I don't have the mod I can't really have a look to see what exactly the issue is. Could you post a screenshot of the Mission Editor with the battleship properties box displayed? Maybe I can see something that way. Did you click the Human Control check box? Are the dates the same as the mission parameters?

Let's see:
1 Mod is enabled? (start with the crazy stuff first)
2. Is the PBB in the sub menu and you added it to the mission?
3. checked the box "Human control" (the box is way to the right, some people think it is the one to the left which is closer to "human control")
4. Check entry date and mission date
5 Save as a 'German mission'


I assume you are seeing your mission when you start SH4 since you said you can only see uboats. So I guess you have selected German missions.
Is it compatable with whatever version of SH4 you have and with whatever mods you have enabled? I don't think it will work with the Fubuki, not positive but if you have the Fubuki enabled try disabling it. Which Uboat is showing?

everything is compatible, the IX-D2 is showing

Do you have a place to post it. I would be glad to d/l it and check it out. There is a quick mission in the Mission Designers forum that I wrote when the PBB first came out. You could try that one (small d/l) and see if it works. If that one doesn't then there may be a problem with the install or download may be corrupt.
