Don't start with campaing. Some missions are hard, but what is more important, they are all very confusing, with lot's of possible targets, lots of 'fail' conditions.

Start with single missions, based on number of stars by them. More stars, more difficult mission. Start with one platform (helo has no tma, kilo is simplest sub).

There is also wiki somewhere here

but I can't find it at the moment :o Let's wait for Oneshot, he will make it clear.

The Wiki can be found here : http://www.commanders-academy.com/wi..._Waters_-_Wiki
or when you visit the Portal page here : http://www.commanders-academy.com/ its on the nav menu on the left hand side.

A good start is the Landlubbers Survival Guide which can be found in the Wiki.

Any more questions, post here or over at the CADC.

I like to start people off with the 688i. It's waterfall displays are very easy to teach and once you master that, the other subs are a piece of cake. I'd stay away from the aircraft for starters. They can be difficult to operate for a newbie because you REALLY have to multitask with them and you're moving at a pretty high rate of speed compared to the other vessels. Things can go FUBAR a LOT faster for the aircraft than for a sub.

I think the 688i is also the most user friendly sub. I'd say, learn in this order..

1. 688i
2. Seawolf
3. Kilo
4. Akula
5. either the aircraft or the FFG.
