Found a cameouflaged ship

I stumbled upon a convoy some minutes ago, and found out there were several ships that were dressed in cameouflage. However, the sea seems an odd place to wear jungle-style camo! (perhaps it's a river-boat?)

I found example the same type of vessel in a convoy I stumbled on. The only difference was it looked like it was on fire in the bridge. Dunno what that means..

You must've caught it during night-time, and with its lights turned on. The bridge will show red light protruding from the windows. (the same as the red lights in your own U-boat)

nope middle of the day, clear conditions and visibility to 5,000 metres - I didn't think you can chance upon ships that have been previously damaged (off radarm so to speak) and notice the damage...

You can if the convoy was attacked by another u-boat.:yep:

Green and blue tones were used on some North Atlantic vessels from about 1942 onwards (although most merchants were two-tone or one solid shade of grey).

Looks like an Empire Class to me http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/181...kbigsw1yo4.gif

Ships can also take damage from bad weather, the game engine treats all damage, regardless of source, the same.

Anyway, currently the vessel blends in nicely with the bottom of U-boat Alley
