I was so impresse about the underwater pics too...30 meters and the water was so CLEAR...outstanding place to scuba diving! :)

either they got permission from the MOD or they used a ROV. This is because the Royal Oak is a protected war grave.

Those super-clear photos aren't photos. If you look closely you'll see the words "artists impression" underneath in small text. :know:

Wow, just look at the list of men who died on the Royal Oak (second link), and that on just one ship! :huh:

EDIT: Amazing to find out it still leaks oil after 70 years.
