I tried your Hobgoblin stuff. Kind of weak in flavor. How is this? I can see the first one is a Lager and I do not do bottom fermented beers (All bottom fermented beers are headaches in a can in my opinion - good way to get a hangover, so I stick to top fermented beers like Ale's). Is this second one a lager too?

Both are lagers, but as I said one reason I like them is the low gas in them I'm not a real larger fan give me Ale any day of the week.

BTW
Both are Asian beers.

I've had some Spaten Optimator, probably the best lager out there in my opinion, in my fridge for about 3 years now. I still can't drink it. I hate lagers or anything bottom fermented.

Raspiest yeast piss I've ever had the misfortune of drinking. It was cheaper then budwiser though, so you drank it anyway. Don't ever get a combat bottle, its nastier still.

I was in Astoria this past weekend. Besides getting to see a Mk.18 torpedo, Japanese surrender swords, and other cool stuff in the museum (go to the museum if you are ever in the area, worth it), they have quite a few good local brews. Mmmmm...

Were you at Ft. Stevens or the maritime museum?

I like Cobra, good for a HOT day.

Friday was great, though. Hadn't eaten all day - the girlfriend was fasting before a CAT scan, solidarity :)
Met my father for an Indian and a few cold Cobras. Ahhhh

The best beer as far as I am concerned. Natively brewed in Shiner, Texas.

OMG that brought back memories.

Oh the brain cells I killed
The stomach lining I destroyed
The miles I spent driving the porcelain bus

It has been over 20 years since I was stationed there and I can STILL taste that aftertaste

Blach
