Confusion about GWX 2.0 & 2.1 file download

I've uninstalled GWX 2.0 thinking 2.1 was a new program needing new, clean install.

Now, on the gwx.orange site, I don't know which files are for 2.0 or 2.1

Can someone please clarify the layout of GWX files on the .orange webpage?

You MUST have 2.0 installed.

Then run the 2.1 installer.

It updates things.

Regarding bin files for 2.1

I've reinstalled GWX 2.0

Do I also need to get bin files 1 thru 7 along with the 2.1 exe to upgrade OR just the 2.1 exe?

If I need the bin files , which ones are they on the links page of the .orange site?

2.1 is ONE exe file.
No bins.
And be sure to turn your speakers up loud!!

GWX 2.1 voices missing

I've upgraded to GWX 2.1 and have noticed that sometimes the officers' voices don't speak out the commands like "Reloading torpedoe, sir" or "Ahead slow."

Is there a patch for GWX 2.1? or Did I not install correctly?

The very best way to install is
a totally fresh install of SH3 patched to 1.4,
install the GWX 2.0
then install the GWX 2.1

I run up to 10 installs.
All done in different ways.

The only perfect runner is a total new install.
There ae so many things that can happen to an
install.

Bad save bugs and such.

That's why we recommend,
in the highest way,
a new install.

PITA yes.
But well worth it IMHO.
