Online research reveals that Krvaric is the co-founder of Fairlight, a band of software crackers which later evolved into an international video and software piracy group that law enforcement authorities say is among the world’s largest such crime rings. After co-founding Fairlight in Sweden, Krvaric established U.S. operations for the organization, including an arm headquartered in Southern California—a major center for the computer and video game industry.

What??? Someone involved in the Republican Party associated with something as underhanded as this???

Must be the Liberal Media making stuff up. Yeah, that's the ticket. :hmm:

Uh, you must not know anything about Fairlight. Fairlight is not just a little group that makes nintendo hacks. Fairlight is pretty darn huge, you'd be surprised how many cracked/pirated games that have been floating around online over the last few years trace back to their cracking and distro. A significant fraction, that's how many.

If you read the article, it has been almost 20 years since this guy was involved. Basically, its a crack group that grew out of control long after he left! They didn't arrest anybody with it until 2004!

PS. Found it:

...After Krvaric's apparent departure in 1992, FairLight PC was reconstituted by others and continued to carry on software piracy....

If this guy was a Democrat i doubt the media would have mentioned his party affiliation at all.

He is a naturalized Citizen, and probably knows far better then most of us US-Born automatic citizens the value of what our citizenship is, which we take for granted. I have no doubt that he will run the local party here decently, and that there will be no change in the Representatives to the House due to Sacramento's Gerrymandering back in 2001. So business as usual.
CA's Electoral College will go Democrat due to the massive population sinks of LA and the SF Bay Area. The Dems will still hold both Senate Seats until the Governator runs in 2012. And Sacramento will be as it always has been . . .
This is the life of a SoCal San Diego Republican.
