what pc or laptop?
 

just ordered a Dell XPS M1730 and was wondering if its a little over kill for SH3.

does anyone else use one of these?

would it make loading times quicker?

would i see a large graphics improvement?

There is no such thing as overkill in a gaming PC. :up:

The specs look good, but to me it's overkill to ever pay $2500 for any computer.

did you order it with the 7200 RPM hard drive? I read that really helps on the load times.

It's a year old now, but I love my Dell XPS M1710. I ordered it with the faster HD and an upgrade to an NVidia GeForce 7950GT.

It's currently running GWX 2.1 like a dream at highest res.

I think you'll not want to use anything else.

Personaly i would never buy a laptop for gaming, nor would i spend that much money on equal or supperior performance, but if you are not the kind of guy to piece together your own computer it isnt a bad choise given you have the money to spend.

Looks/sounds well capable, but what a price. :o
