For Aussies on forum - Underbelly DVD help!
Hi All,
As most Australians know (including the sod's in Vic who can't legaly watch it and yet have seen every episode before it was shown!;)) Underbelly is about to come out on DVD. 4 discs, Uncut and with a tag price of $70 AUD. But can I preorder one? NOOOOO!!! All have sold out, all 65,000 first print DVD's and the price there going for on auction sites is scary! I have some doubts that they will be in shops as of the 8th of may due to the sheer amount of pre orders. Does anyone know of somewhere that will take a pre order??? For the rest of you who don't know about the show http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underbelly_(TV_series) http://www.underbellytv.com/ |
Couldnt get into it tbh...
everywhere i looked though there wasnt much luck! |
Kym Gingell is scary in this show . OMG he looks like a real sleazy crime .

Oh yeah , a wonderful show that glorifies a bunch of scum - One of the "Hero's" this craps based on murded an opposition criminal infront of the guys 6 year old son at the kids footy practice , walked up to the guy while he was sitting in a van watching his kid and shot him in the head with a shotgun...and channel nine got upset because the courts wouldnt let them prejudice a murder case in Victoria which they included in the show :nope:

It doesn't do anything to glorify them in any way. It shows them to be cruel, petty thugs who only care about themselves and money. The fact that the vast majority of them end up dead or in jail shows what a life of crime does cost.
I do back the courts on the blocking of channel 9 to stop them broadcasting in Vic, as it would have interfeared with two court cases in progress and another in the near future. Some of the actors gave me the creeps. Benji (DAMIAN WALSHE-HOWLING) may have looked the most caring, but it showed what happened when he went psyco! |
