New to the game; adding extra ports, info appreciated!

Hi, I'm relatively new to the game, and haven't yet installed any mods as I'm enjoying it as it is and getting used to the way it works for the moment. However, I've noticed that there aren't a great deal of ports included and wanted to clarify the method I should use to add a few more. Is it just a matter of adding relevant information to the Locations.cgf file in the Data/Terrain folder?

Many thanks for any help!

You really want to try this game first with the GWX 2.1 Mod...

Then decide if you want to add ports...

Yup, you only have to add ports to the locations.cfg file and they show up in-game.

To add ships that appear when you go on patrol, you need to edit the Campaign_scr.mis file (or whatever it's called).

Thanks!

How do you know which coordinates to use?

I wrote this a long time ago

Could probably stand to be updated when I get time but will get you started
REMEMBER
Just cos it looks ok in the mission editor doesnt mean it is

Always best to run a patrol there to check it out
