Silent Hunter 4: UBM Modifications (Updated February 12th 2015)
Here's a list of mods for use with the expansion, (i.e. one's made for the U-Boats specifically. 1.5 compatible mods for Fleet Boats can be found in the SH4 Mods Workshop )
This list is under construction, and will take some time to be complete, I imagine, so if I miss anything off, please feel free to PM me with a link to a release that can be put here. Thanks! Please remember, only mods specifically to do with the U-Boats or the U-Boat Campaign will be posted here. _______________________________________ SINGLE MISSIONS Syxx_Killer's U-Boat Missions Pack _______________________________________ GRAPHICS MODS John Hamm's old U-Boat Crew Uniforms mod has long since been replaced by John Hamm's R.U.I.M. WOW !!! This is a big thread. :p
Why aren't the Super Mods for SH4 UBM here ? |
Since I am now running a German U-Boat I would indeed like to get rid of the "Klaxon" horn. Jeez that's creepy on a U-Boat.:damn:
Is there a mod for the "Alarm"? Never mind I broke that loud noise maker and D/L a German sound patch. Much better now. |

Currently I'm playing the American campaign (TMO+RSRDC) but I wouldn't mind jumping in some German hardware and sink away. If so where can I find it? |
Since it's 'updated' you might want to add Operation Monsun and the several new mods created since this was last posted.

& C I am also hoping there is a way I can delete every japanese related material out of the game completely as its a complete waste of gcard load time. until gwx4 comes out even though i bought sh4 & the uboat missions addon I cant stand it & am sticking to sh3 because well lets face it the pacific sucks and nothing compares to the sh3 German Campaigns. yes I am an American & I cant stand the pacific war *gags* |

I totally disagree about the Pacific, though that's probably because I was born just after the war ended and grew up watching movies like Run Silent, Run Deep and Destination Tokyo; and absolutely loved Silent Service and Silent Hunter 1. |
Hello,
thanks, well it all becomes a bit complicated - another list of U-Boat Mission Mods (1.5 patch) is here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=143000 I am still trying to find out what to install - have been 2 years in sleep mode sub-wise ;) Thanks and greetings, Catfish |
You should put a link to my post in the ATO mods section, where you can play as U-Boats on multiplayer missions :)
|
Umm...this thread is almost two years old.

ROFL its ok brotha im just messing with ya :)

So i downloaded JSGME.7z and extracted it to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific folder, as described on the ubisoft forum and copied in the operation monsun (3x folders worth) enabling each in the correct order. However when starting SH4-Uboat missions there is no change to the menu screen, same original pacific campaign.
The only thing that i can see that may be the cause is that it states in the forum that JSGME puts the MODS folder into the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific folder, whereas mine is still in the JSGME folder which itself is in the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific folder. Is this the reason perhaps? cheers |
Without being able to see your computer screen I can't say for certain exactly what you have vs what you need, but it sounds like you found it. Yes, the MODS folder should appear in the main SH4 folder.
