I think he's got a number of valid points... YMMV.

I think it's a bit too much doom and gloom for me. For a long time now this country has had a dependency on foreign oil. Even foreign oil bought from people who don't like us.

All in all it sounds like plain, healthy reason to me, and is not much different from what I say since long. America needs more self-critical sense of realism like this guy's - much more.

Not heard of SFC, but i like the potential it has. might even write to my MP about it... something to keep me occupied at work!
