I got rammed by a tanker!
 

Kaleuns, mind the tankers in port, they can be furious for attacking them!

I was sitting in Liverpool port, minding my own business (and that of the ships docked there :up: ) when I decided it was time for abit of TC.
Suddenly, the fast-forward stopped and I had a tanker on top of me! It actually rammed me, drove me to the ground (only 20 meters of depth there) and then stopped right above me.
It took some 'wahnzinnige fahrt züruck' to get underneath of the thing, but dang!

Never time control with an angry tanker around!

Well, after some 400 meters of backing-down, it received a slap around the ears. (in the form of a torpedoe ofcourse!)

That'll teach you to put Bernard as Watch Officer, as he has got all the observation skills of a toadstool!

Ha ha ha. Death by fat tanker squish.:o

I luckely wasn't dead, but you can understand my amazement when I put the periscope up, and viewed the crew's lavatory! :dead:

Tankers are not only dangerous in ports.... :nope:

Last night while returning from patrol I accidently collided with somebody in Lorient. It was foggy, pouring rain & really dark (GWX 2.1 dark - much darker than stock :eek: ). It's the first time that I've had an in-port accident in a long time. Apart from a few scrapes & bruises, nobody was seriously hurt.

Phew, it looks like someone took a big bite out of it!
I can already imagine....'Oi, this is not a banana!'

The first time I left from Lorient I got run over and killed by that stupid patrol boat that pops up on the starboard side of the pier! I was looking at charts and such. Had no idea the doofus would ram one of his own. Now I'm on the bridge until I clear the coastline watching out for that guy.

Well, this wasn't drift really, the tanker deliberately steered for my position, and came to a dead-halt right on top of me!
