Any American surface combat ships yet ?

Yesterday was the day...of days... SH4 took a turn for the surface!!!
We now have Japanese and German Combat surface ships!!!:yep:
But the americans have an oiler:shifty: (Not to down grade the oiler at all hell it's the one I've been playing the most) I took a stab at making the Fletcher but something just didn't come out right:hmm: So I sent the file to Mikhayl to review what i did wrong. However would any one else like to try to make a Surface DD for the Americans!! that would rock:rock:

I was thinking more along the lines of a pensacola class heavy cruiser so we can have some convoy escort missions where the CA and DD's face off against the Panzerschiff

Cruiser Destoyer either one, I would prefer either of those over a BB (not tha I don't eventially want a BB) but for the purpose of the Game and the crew size that we have at our disposal I felt the DD was the closest match

Let's say that a light cruiser is the correct size. But the Iowa class is a must have.

But remember that in a game focused on the hunt for cargo ships and convoys, the best ship type you can use is a merchant raider.

Can not agree!
I made a Iowa for myself for cruising a lil bit but thats so boring...
No real enemies, no action(just hearing the gun firing!

But when I did some tests with a Fletcher I was very stimulated:D
You GOT some real enemies, you are very fast and it is good compatible with this sub game (crew management, damage reports, weapons...)

better types in my oppinion:
Elco and Fletcher/Somers

Well then we agree that is exactly what I said

I wonder if four propellers would actually move, since a sub only has two in the game.
