Bloody Student Loans
I was doing some research into International Student Loans, and every single one I looked at required a US co-signature. :damn::damn:
Its not really an international loan if you have to know people who are willing to make that commitment in the first place  |
Not sure I understand this. I am not familiar with the term "International Student Loans"
Are these loans from US banks designed to help international students? If so, then I can understand the need for a Co-signer that resides in the same country as the loan granting bank. The US Bank needs to have a US co-signer in order to get their money back. Or does "International Student Loans" mean something else? But in any case Student Loans suck but are frequently the only way a student can afford college. I am looking at about $75,000 in student loans if I ever finish my doctorate (ouch!). Without student loans I don't think I could have afforded to go back to college. |
Well you see, I was hit with the bombshell that on one occassion, I was given a fund declaration that said it would cost a minimum of $12,000 per academic year. Later, I got another saying it'd be $19,000.
Where the hell did that extra $7000 come from?! |
