Honda system to warn motorists of crime hotspots

This is a cool idea! Though this would make more sense for highly stolen types of cars.

This would be good for bikes. Since protection systems on cars have become quite advanced, thieves are turning to stealing high performance bikes. Even with locks that cost £100 plus, with a good set of bolt croppers you can break these, and two men can lift any bike into the back of a van and away. It pushes insurance premiums up A LOT, so any kind of warning system would go down a treat.

I hope you mean motorcycles! :-? I spent $5K last year on bikes and don't need them up and disappearing! :dead:

Just finished my first week on a new bike. It's a bit shiny, with natural metal finish, so I'm trying to dirty it up a bit to deter thieves.

Nice big chunky lock :)
