A Simple Question !
:D Hi everyone !
I've downloaded GWX 2.1 , and get positively surprised when I saw that the new SH3 Commander had been released:) But here's the question; they said you can download the one 3.1 over the top of the old one , so I did it ,:smug: but can I drag and drop , I did it with the file that come with the new update 2.1 into SH3 folder ????:yep: hoping for soon response:p Good Hunting:arrgh!: |
Once you update your SH3Cmdr installation to v3.1 you need to add again the GWX only Cfg files to SH3Cmdr. I hope this helps

TBH I leave nothing to chance....I'd delete then install the newer version (not forgetting the CFG file of course) ;)

Hello,
unfortunately this is not a simple question  That is how it reads: "Download from the GWX site (http://gwx.mysite.orange.co.uk) and extract the contents into your SH3 Commander\Cfg folder. Refer to the readme.txt in the zip file for more detailed information. " So i installed it directly into the cfg folder as written in the readme, so the folder structure now reads : SH3 Commander\CFG\GWX_2.1_CFG_4_SH3Cmdr3.0 and below this folder there is again a cfg folder, and a Flotilla and U-boat folder. I thought those folders should overwrite the CFG, Flotilla and U-boat folders directly under SH3 Commander ? Or is it ok the way i wrote it here ? I must be the only one who does not understand how to install SH3.1 on GWX2.1 :damn: :stare:   :88) :rotfl: .... Thanks and greetings, Catfish |
D/l and install Commander 3.1 into C/Programs
D/l and install JSGME into Commander 3.1 folder Open up 3.1 and it should create a 'MODS' folder (if it hasn't already) D/l the 2.1 CFG file and unpack it into the above MODS folder Enable the CFG via JSGME http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...s/thumbsup.gif |
