The U-boat War is over for me...
 

I went on my last hunt and got back and the War was over. I only came out with 165,000 tonnes at the end of the war. So now I can start playing with more upgrades and play around with missions. I wish we could get a good AI PT boat and the Subs in a Wolf Pack would do something. These are the upgrades Ubi should be working on.

I certainly have a better understanding of how to shoot torpedos with surface attacks and how to down DDs with the Walther.

i just got the uboat addon. How many patrols did you get during your career. Was wondering as the campaign starts so late in the war. thanks

8 patrols. 5 in the iXD2 and 3 in the Walther. And 186,945 tonnes total. I'm sure many have had more patrols with larger numbers. I wasted a lot of topedos learning to use the Walther.

"Only" 165,000 tons? Considering that the only u-boat to actually operate in the Pacific scored a whopping 42,374 tons http://uboat.net/boats/u862.htm and many of them didn't sink a single ship, I think you're doing far better than the reality.
