SH4 intro movie stuttering / lagging
 

hey guys, ive had this problem for ages and nobody else seems to have reported it so i thought i'd just ask.

The intro video for SH4 (the poem)

*Pixellates occasionally
* sound starts stuttering (I.E constantly starts & stops) after 5 seconds and doesn't stop stuttering.
* Picture freezes constantly after 5 seconds and doesn't stop.

Do the SH4 movies require some special video codec that i may have accidentally deleted or... whats going on here?

Im running XP, with a dual core pentium, and I'm on a Nivdia 8800GT with the latest drivers.

Can anyone give their 2 cents? Cheers guys.

The SH4 installer allows you to also install the Windows Media codecs needed for the intro movie.

found em, installed em, unfortunately they haven't fixed the problem which is a bit of a bugger. Bit of a mystery to me. you know, i always seem to have problems with Ubisoft movies, like on Prince of Persia or Splinter cell. Weird.
