SH3 Commander 3.0 + GWX 2.1 (Having a ball!)

Sorry if this is familiar to you, but this is my first campaign using SH3 Commander, when I saw this I just found it very funny... At first I thought "Wait... how the hell the program knows..." :lol:

This was the first picture to show up, I was a bit shocked...

But what a great program this is, very nice!

After almost a year without playing the game (only modding) I managed to sink 35k tons (3 merc/2 warships) and get promoted to Oberleutnent, using 100% realism and come back home 5 days later with 99% hull int (a little scratch while parking my U-33 in the way back at Wilhelmshaven, nothing serious). Thomsen's isn't as rusty as he thought! I had forgotten how cool is to play this game, for the last whole year I was only modding around and testing, no campaign what so ever. But since GWX 2.1 was out, I decided to give it a try.

Hi im looking to DL sh3 commander 3.0, ive tried the JScones webby but the dl dont seem to be on there just a load of other stuff. Anyone got another link to the dl please? i have a fresh install of sh3 and ive downloaded the gxw 2.01 mod and im ready to go! just need this commander mod :) thanks for the help guys

You won't regret it. It's arguable whether GWX or Commander is more important to the game. Together they can't be beat!:rock:

You should be afraid. Be very afraid. The version I posted is 3.1.3.184...the exact same version you get from Wolfhunter's page.

Hate to hijack but I found a minor problem. I did the correct install to GWX2.1 and got to play two weeks of it without a hitch. I broke down and installed SHC3.1 and went with my 1st mission (for the recommended shake down cruise) I have OLC on there too, well, when I tried to use the engine telegraph to go "ahead flank", I got the voice acknowledgement BUT, the indicator dropped to "stop" and so did my boot..... any ideas. Thanks in advance.

I have never encountered that problem. I have been using sh3commander and gwx2.1 for 13 patrols and has been working fine. May want to try uninstall and reload. Make sure you have run the config files for gwx2.1 to use with sh3commander if you haven't done so.

Thanks tv.... I DLed the config files and placed each of the folder's contents into the appropriate Sh3Comm folder (cfg, flotilla, uboat) and no prob's other then the occasional CTD when loading an in game save, I still don't know why that happens (specs are beyond recommended).. I'm rambling, maybe it was a glitch and I'll try it out again tomorrow....Thanks again.:)

As for now I can't download anything from FF due to unknown reason. Checked some other ppl from my country and they had confirmed downloads failure from FF. But I believe it has something to do with lame marketings or even some political issues. Anyway I have wrote a letter to FF support, waiting for some explanations or so..

Check to see if sabotage/malfunction is turned on in SH3 Commander, ahead flank not working is one of the malfunctions that has been included in it.
