So I ventured into Tokyo bay hoping for some big kills. I got a few merchants, a seaplane tender and a cruiser. On my way out, I was chased by a gunboat, but no harm there. Then from out of nowwhere comes a destroyer... and I didn't notice it until he was right on me!!! WTF?!?!? Like I said, I hate destroyers...
But this time I was a little differant - I wasn't going to ******* around anymore.

I put by boat into full reverse as he crossed over me, right full rudder until I was facing him. He was till close, so I switched put my torpedo detonator to 'contact' and speed 'fast' and took my shot. Direct hit. She didn't sink, but came to a stop. Not good enough for me. I had to teach these destroyers a lesson. So I took another shot. Here is the result...

I shouldn't have any more problems with destroyers now. I am sure they learned their lesson. When I come in for an attack, they should just abandon the convoy and run away in fear of me.

They arent much tonnage, but it is fun to kill the thing there to kill you :)

Ah, the wonders of computer driven, automatic targetting.

even with autotargetting, hitting destroyers takes luck and big brass ones. so here's to the OP : :rock:
