Remove all ships from SH3 and replace thim with sailing ships.

Clippers, Pirate ships, etc.

Have a sort of carribean pirates sort of thing going on?

Perhaps the british fleet seeks out pirate ships, and you get "loot" aka (renown) for attacking and sinking spanish clipper ships etc.

Yes, all ships can be replaced by galleons and frigates, all kinds of sailing ships, and you could still play the carrer, you would spot convoys of sailing ships. Would be very fun, but at what cost? Remodelling all ships to look like sailing ships? Would take at least a month...

Actually, that info is wrong...

All the galleons and frigates are already done and modelled in another games and even in sites around the net... All we need to do is import them via S3D and replace the ships and subs. Would be a one or two day job.

Its just me or everybody watched Pirates of the Carabbean today on HBO Plus? :hmm:

hahaha i didint even know pirates came on today.

Im thinking that you could play the role of a pirate or play as a british ship vs pirates and spanish armadas etc.

remodel the flags to represent pirates, the union jack etc

perhaps have a career mode in the carribean or something.

have enough crew to man perhaps 3 port and 3 starboard deck guns.

still have the speed telegraph only slightly modified to indicate how to rig the saile.

something simple like the higher speed you have ordered the more sails appear or something.
