Downed Aircraft Icons

I've only recently started playing SHIV and I've noticed that the map symbols for downed aircraft are not displayed as before with SH3. Does anyone know which file I'll need to change to bring this feature back? I always get a warm and happy feeling when I look at the map and it's covered in little red "battle badges" :)

It would be a nicer feature for your own scout planes. Just having the contact slowly disappear over time after it gets shot down doesn't tell you much.

I don't want anything to disappear... I want downed plane symbols to stay put.

I noticed that too,so instead I just put marks on the map where I shot the aircraft down an put a comment like "Scout 12-25-41" or "Fighter 1-23-42".
