assigning buttons

Anyone have preferences on how to assign (or where to) the buttons/functions for 1946? I have a saitek av8r stick and would like some advice. there are tons of buttons to assign it seems! :o

I have most of the buttons assigned to the keyboard e.g. Drop tanks is CTRL+T as in 'Tanks', Feather engine is CTRL+F and so on.

The only non-firing buttons I have on my joystick are elevator trims and flaps.
