Aliens vs predator made for some awesome video games but lousy movies.

Never heard of AvP 3 coming, but there's been rumours for sometime about Alien 5.

If Alien 5 would be done with the three people working on it that are mentioned in the site it would most possibly come VERY close to be true to the original(s).

Ridley Scott & James Cameron working together? :rock:(Tho, I dont mind if Cameron is kicked out, as long as Scott is there ;)).

Personally, I thought both games and movies were okay (lesser so the last movie).

I'm with Jim here. The games are still great, especially the marine parts. As for the movies, the first one was ok, it had some ties to the Alien series, the corporation was there aswell as Bishop. The second one I could rank as a 'B' class horror, hated it.

FOX is on record for saying they have no plans to re-hash the ALIEN franchise.

Even so I seriously can not see Sigourney Weaver back due to the fact shes well in her 50's, there have been many rumors of a pre-sequel and Ripley kicking Alien butt on there home planet and so on. To date there is nothing to suggest there ever will be another one but you never know.

Yeh, well.. another stupid decision from FOX. A new Alien would be tons more popular than 5 AvP movies counted together. :yep: Oh and yes, I agree with what you said about Weaver. Tho, it's not mandatory for me to have her in the movie. I'd really like to see either an movie based on the outpost and it's happenings just before "Aliens" or... well.. that's what I'd like to see. :smug:

You know, it you put Chuck Norris in the AVP movie you just might have a winner there.

And a very short movie. After the opening credits, we would watch Chuck Norris looking up into the sky, checking his watch all the time for 5 minutes. The Aliens & Predators would be too scared to show up. :yep:

Personaly i wish they would make a AvP 3 game then a movie (preferably a realy good game like AvP 1, AvP 2 was a bit meh)

Actually there is a console game coming out I think for the Sony platform that basically follows all three of the Alien movies. I saw it in Game Informer. It look quite good..even down to that spider looking thing in the egg that comes flying out and attaches to the dudes face. Nasty....

I have found it and due out 10/08. It is called Aliens, Colonial Marines. Just about every platform for the release.
