Any Futurama fans here?

lately i have been becoming a fan of the T.V. show Futurama created by Matt Groening. it was on Fox from 1999-2003 and they show the reruns on Comedy Central at 9pm. and more recently there are four movies coming out, the first one is already out- Benders Big Score and the second Beast with a Billion Backs is due out June 24th.

anyway the show is about a pizza devliery boy - Phillip J. Fry - who was sent deliver a pizza to Appiled Cryogenics on Dec. 31st 1999, and after he discovers it was a prank, he sits down and eats the pizza. while leaning back in the chair, he falls back in the chair and into an open cryogenic tube and forzen for 1000 years.

i was wondering if anyone on here is a fan of Futurama. below is a link to one of the best Futurama sites - Futurama Madhouse

Definitely, I have four series on DVD. I think Bender along with Dick Dastardly is a fabulous role model for children.

Absolutely!!!

"Fry and the Slurm Factory"
Leela: This all must have something to do with the secret ingredient.
Fry: My God, what if the secret ingredient is people?
Leela: No, there's already a soda like that - Soylent Cola.
Fry: Oh. How is it?
Leela: It varies from person to person.

"Three Hundred Big Boys"
Nixon: The loot, the loot, the loot is on fire!

"A Head in the Polls"
Ford: Frankly, I've never found voting to be all that essential to the process.
Nixon: No kidding, Ford.

Bender: Not so fast, Nixon! Are you familiar with audio tape?
Nixon: Uh-oh. I don't like where this is heading.
Nixon: [on tape] And I'll go into people's houses at night and wreck up the place!
Nixon: My God? I really sound like that? I thought my voice had more of a Clark Gable quality.

And of course, when they found the "poplers"
Well, according to this thing on my wrist, it's a Class M planet, so it should at least have Rodenberries. (referencing Gene Rodenberry, and I'll bet they taste great, too!).

I love Futurama! It is one of my favorite shows. I wish Comedy Central would show more than one episode a night, though. I saw Bender's Big Score on CC a couple weeks back. It wasn't bad. Did anyone else think Nudar and his buddies looked a little like Dr. Wormstrom? (sp?) My favorite episode by a mile is Roswell That Ends Well.

Futurama...............Brought to you by Ragnar's Human Rinds.

Such a great show, too bad Fox canned it way to early. Still, its awesome that the movies are coming out.

Watching some Simpson's episodes, sometimes you can catch on to ideas that turned up in Futurama.

One episode I remember is Bart asking about any "Jive talking robots".
