No Ships (Balz)

"No ships, no ships." Balz paced the Zentralle grumbling. "How am I continue being the hero, the example and model for the Kriegsmarine without ships to sink." He clutched his head.

"You'd feel better if you wore your tea cozy," Bernard said.
"Yes, yes." Balz gave Bernard a hateful look.
"I washed it," Bernard said and handed Balz the tea cozy.
"Thank you," Balz put the tea cozy on and water ran down his neck. "I am going to murder you." He reached for Bernard, but was too slow.
Bernard ran out of the Zentralle.
The shout "Sound contact," saved Bernard's life.
Balz went to the hydrophone station and listened on the headset. "I hear the sweet chugah, chugah of a freighter on the primrose trail of doom. New heading one eight zero."

I watched the rain drip from the conning tower hatch. We would be lucky to find that ship in the fog.

"Hoochie woochie, we are going to sink a ship. Get the choir up."

With the choir singing, A Foggy Day In London Town, Balz directed our submerged stalk of the freighter from the Hydrophone room. "All engines stop." He then went to the periscope.

"Can I say wasserbomben?" Bernard asked.
Balz turned away from the eyepiece and waved this fist at Bernard.
"I'm going to FIRE you."
On the word fire, I pressed the firing button. At least this time the tube was already flooded.

After the torpedo missed, Balz said. "When someone writes my history it will be called The Great Massacre Aboard U-104."

Hopefully this is a minor blip, in an otherwise glorious career. If not, then all might be lost for the Kreigsmarine............

Found that saves were not on chronological order. Had to delete last save. We are back in business (I hope) hoochie-woochie, woo-hoo! :D
