TMO Mod

I have to give a shot out to the modders who developed the TMO Super mod. I have just installed it and the sounds are just awesome and realistic from my limited knowledge and experience of diesel engines. "Now thats a diesel engine". I am very impressed. Thanks! Still new to the TMO can any give a captain a heads up on what to expect.

I'm just starting out with it myself but have been playing around with some companion mods to go with it. You may want to try the Pacific Environments 2 mod to get the boat pitching and rolling in the high seas (not to mention the great work on sky and water). There's also a mod to fix the propellers spinning backwards that works with TMO.

RSRD will set the campaign to be more historically accurate in terms of enemy movement.

Yes, TMO is a FANTASTIC mod. I can't play without it. I tried vanilla and I couldn't remember any of the dang keys, I'm so used to TM.

If you have played vanilla, you'll notice the escorts are a bit more prudent. It is much tougher to sneak in on a convoy without being detected. You really have to work on it, and when they detect you, you'd better be diving under a thermal layer and running at 1kt. Ducimus doesn't make it impossible to escape, just damned difficult, which raises the enjoyment factor immensely. When (if) you do escape, you have a much better feeling of accomplishment, too.

I have add the Pacific Environment and will checkout RSRD. Thanks!

Very sound choices, ktrboston!
Oh, FYI, TMaru is largely the work of ONE person ONLY. Which makes it even more amazing. :yep:

The man you seek is Ducimus; and here is more information courtesy of his hard work!

You can get TMO (Trigger Maru Overhaul) at the following link. Also, don't

A VERY good mod.

TMO? Ducimus? A shot out?

Oh!! You're being appreciative:up: That's OK, you just haven't met Ducimus' evil airplanes that will bomb you into the next century while you lie "safely" at periscope depth. Hehehehehehe. THIS will be fun.......:fff:

The most appropriate reaction to TMO is FEAR.:arrgh!:

If you do try RSRDC, be patient! It does start out a little slow (like in real life) but it gets better. More interesting kind of patols IMO.
