Idea - Mod Files and stats list....
 

OK - I see a lot of "where is this or that" from some of the newer folks that want to try and take a shot at modding. While the community is really good at giving links on "go here and read", I was thinking a thread that give a list of files, their location, and what data is in them would be helpful for folks who want to find certain data. Even the really experienced guys on occasion are going to have those moments of "where did I see that variable at now that I need it?"

I will start as time permits (aka - after work and the kids are down) - perhaps make the list in this thread to start, then once it gets large enough and useful enough then perhaps get one of the mods to sticky it as necessary. If anyone wants to contribute - feel free to put the data in posts. As it grows I will work on organizing it sensibly.

For example (and a start)

Weapons Data:

Data\Library\Shells.zon - damage and radius variables for AA and deck gun shells.

Wow! I was thinking "Oh, no. Lists of mods have been done before, and they always get old or lost or..."

This looks like a good idea to me. One of the things I always appreciated about Beery's work was that he was willing to take the time to list every single file change in his readmes.
